Entry: Wow! Look! An Update?!?!?! Saturday, November 19, 2005

Hey Everyone! Long Time (very) No Post!

I decided randomly the other night that I should get my Blog back up and running again since I have a lot of spare time, at least till Feb next year. So now, I suppose what I should do is say everything that I've been up to since my last post waaaay back in March so here goes...hmm what was my last post about anyway? Parachute? Wow, that was AGES ago! ahem. Anyways...

Since March 2005 I have mostly been working. I moved from mainside at McDonalds to the McCafé part, which I enjoyed a lot more than mainside. Easter Camp 2005 at Mystery Creek came next along the timeframe, That was a really awesome time, It was too long ago to remember specifics about it! Jump ahead to September now- Cool Bananas Camp 05! This was just as great as the other two that I've been to, Had a great time. Great moments Include the following
- The WHOLE Camp in a big Mud Fight
- Mexican Theme Dinner (see Picture below)
- The Food!
- Pretending to be a inanimate Mexican dummy, then Jumping up when the Sarges came round for Cabin inspection

We all had a great time there. Here is my Costume for the Mexican Night:

Not Bad eh? hmm, what came next after camp? After that it was really time for me to begin one of the biggest journeys in my life, Moving away from home. I had put in an application for Hagley Theatre Company (an Acting Course) in Christchurch and that got accepted. I needed to be in Christchurch for a full day workshop/audition on the 5th of November. I organised everything and found a flat down in Christchurch with a friend of mine called Nicole and I flew down on the 20th of October, all my stuff had been packed into 10 boxes and sent down before then, it arrived about 2 hours before I did. Once I got to Christchurch I got Nicole to give me a tour around town and I made plans to go to Spreydon Baptist Church which I got to the week after. It's a really awesome church! I joined a small group for my age-group the day after and met some new people there. On the 5th came the workshop day at Hagley. This was a lot of fun, We basically had 20-40 minute blocks of each subject that we would be doing next year while the tutors and some of the current students observed us and wrote stuff down about us. This was followed by an informal interview afterwards which turned out to be more a "So, Do you have any Questions?" session. A few days later I got a letter in the post informing me that I got into the course! I can't wait till Feburary the 9th now! I've been looking for Jobs in Christchurch but I haven't found anything here yet and I'm trying to get on the unemployment benefit so I at least have some money coming in but thats taking ages, I have another appointment on Monday (8:30am!!) and hopefully that will be the last one cause I am seriously broke at the moment. I am moving to a new flat on or around the 3rd of December because I have been asked to leave this one, The new flat looks really cool and my new flatmate, Jamin, is a really cool guy. So overall, things aren't going too bad for me down here in Christchurch.

Well thats about all the news I have from the life of me at the moment. Expect More Updates Here!

God Bless
Blair
